NSSCC Co-Ordinator

At a committee meeting there was a discussion regarding the appointment of the Northern Saloon and Sports car Championship Co-Ordinator. It was decided that it was impracticable to include at the AGM as this is after all paperwork (Regulations etc.) had been issued. Therefore this now carried out at the end of the year at a committee meeting ready for a new season. Darlington and District Motor Club Ltd are seeking applications from persons interested in the appointed position of Northern Saloon and Sports Car Championship co-ordinator 2015. The requirements for the co-ordinator include, but are not limited to, the list below. • The Championship Co-ordinator is responsible for liaison between the Championship Organiser (the Club) and the Championship Stewards, the event Organisers and the Competitors, as well as for the distribution of all relevant information. • Supplying the club Newsletter Editor with race reports, photographs, post-race updates of championship standings and other associated material for publication in the club newsletter and website. • Travel to and from all Championship rounds during the season using the Club’s hospitality unit, this is probably 3/4 rounds at Croft and 3/4 away rounds. Fuel costs are covered by the club. • To be responsible for erection and dismantling of the vehicle attached awning at all rounds. Guidance will be given as to this to the successful candidate if required. • Hotel accommodation costs will be covered by the club (usually a Premier Inn or equivalent). If however you have your own caravan and wish to use this option our vehicle is fully fitted with tow bar and electrics. • The Club will reimbursement of any reasonable out of pocket expenses.
